Where the money went: statement overview

Choose a bank statement (výpis z účtu) and see income and expenses by month and who you paid the most.

Checked

Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere or saved.

Or drag it here. CSV, camt.053, ČSOB XML, MT940, GPC.

How it works

  1. In your internet banking, download the statement for the period you care about. CSV, camt.053, ČSOB XML, MT940 and GPC all work.
  2. Choose the file at the top of this page. For a CSV, assign the columns if needed.
  3. Look at the totals, the months and who you paid and were paid by.

How we count

  • A positive amount is income, a negative one an expense.
  • We do not tell transfers between your own accounts from other transactions: they count as income or expenses.
  • The name comes from the statement. If there is none, we take the payment note. We ignore case and diacritics when comparing names.
  • Each currency has its own overview. Nothing is converted.
  • The lists show the ten largest amounts, the rest are added up in one line.

The file stays with you

Your browser reads the file. The page does not send it anywhere and saves nothing: close it and the file is gone from here.

You can check this yourself: load the page, turn off the internet and choose the file. It all works offline.

The same code reads statements in the Do koruny app: there the transactions become records of expenses and income.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up. There is one limit: the file can be 30 MB at most.

Why does the result not match my account balance?

We count only the transactions in the file, without the opening balance. The difference is income minus expenses for the period of the statement.

Why is one shop on several lines?

The bank named it differently in the statement, for example with a branch number. We merge only names that differ in case or diacritics.
